Fully Bulk Billing for All Medicare Patients
Capstone Medical Centre now bulk bills all eligible services for every Medicare-eligible patient. We participate in the Australian Government’s Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program, which supports general practices that provide fully bulk billed care to the community. All eligible services will be billed through Medicare, with no additional out-of-pocket cost for patients.
What this means for you
If you have a valid Medicare card, your eligible GP consultations at Capstone Medical Centre will be bulk billed.
This means no out-of-pocket cost for Medicare-eligible services covered under bulk billing.
You will not be required to pay on the day for these services — Medicare is billed directly.
This applies to all patients, including children, adults, and seniors, provided the service is Medicare-eligible.
Important to know
Bulk billing applies to eligible services only, as defined by Medicare.
Some services (for example, non-Medicare services, medicals, forms, procedures not covered by Medicare, or third-party reports) may not be bulk billed and will incur a private fee.
Our reception team will always advise you in advance if a service is not covered by Medicare bulk billing.
