Flu vaccinations are available at our clinic

Annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all Australians aged 6 months and over. For many of our patients, the vaccine is provided at no cost under the National Immunisation Program.

Who is eligible for a government-funded vaccine?

Children under 5

  • Children aged 6 months to under 5 years. Can be given at the same time as routine childhood vaccines.

Pregnant women

  • At any stage of pregnancy. Also helps protect your newborn in their first months of life.

Adults 65 and over

  • A specially formulated high-dose vaccine designed to produce a stronger immune response is available for this group.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

  • Eligible from 6 months of age and older.

People with certain medical conditions (aged 6 months and over)

  • Your GP can confirm whether your condition qualifies. Eligible conditions include:
